Myelodysplastic Syndromes: Symptoms
One of a group of cancers in which there are more abnormal cells than normal healthy blood cells (white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets) in the bone marrow or blood. Sometimes, myelodysplastic syndrome becomes acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
