A non-itching rash of many small dots turning from pink to red usually breaks out starting on the second day after infection.
The rash can spread from the torso to the throat and then the hands and feet within a few days, but it usually does not affect below the nose and around the mouth or your palms or the soles of the feet. The rash is often especially visible in the groin region or under your arms.
