Uses of This Medicine
Lanreotide injection is used for the long-term treatment of acromegaly (a growth hormone disorder) in patients who cannot be treated with surgery or radiation. This medicine works by reducing the amount of growth hormone that the body produces. This medicine is also used to treat neuroendocrine tumors from the gastrointestinal tract or the pancreas (GEP-NET) that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery.
This medicine is to be given only by or under the direct supervision of your doctor.
