Uses of This Medicine
Pyrazinamide belongs to the family of medicines called anti-infectives. It is used, along with other medicines, to treat tuberculosis (TB).
To help clear up your tuberculosis (TB) infection completely, you must keep taking this medicine for the full time of treatment, even if you begin to feel better. This is very important. It is also important that you do not miss any doses.
Pyrazinamide is available only with your doctor’s prescription.

How To Use
Tablet
Your doctor will tell you how much to take and how often.
Take this medicine exactly as your doctor ordered. You must take this medicine for as long as your doctor ordered. Even if you feel better, do not stop taking this medicine.
May be taken with or without food or milk.
If a dose is missed:
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next regular dose.
You should not use two doses at the same time.
How to Store and Dispose of This Medicine:
Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.

You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to pyrazinamide, ethionamide, isoniazid (INH) or niacin (nicotinic acid, Nicobid®).
